Molecular Diversity is a new publication forum for the rapid publication of refereed papers dedicated to describing the development, application and theory of molecular diversity and combinatorial chemistry in basic and applied research and drug discovery. The journal publishes both short and full papers, perspectives, news and reviews dealing with all aspects of the generation of molecular diversity, application of diversity for screening against alternative targets of all types (biological, biophysical, technological), analysis of results obtained and their application in various scientific disciplines/approaches including:
combinatorial chemistry and parallel synthesis
small molecule libraries
peptides
proteins
oligonucleotides
carbohydrates
structure/function/SAR
computational chemistry/molecular design
screening techniques and screening interfaces
analytical methods
robotics/automation/miniaturization
new approaches/methods of library formulation and deconvolution
directed evolution/origin of life/recombination
theory (search techniques, landscapes, random chemistry).
The journal will accept two types of manuscripts: (i) Full length papers giving a comprehensive description of original work. (ii) Short communications for rapid publication of novel observations. In addition, Perspectives, Reviews and Conference Reports are published occasionally.
Molecular Oncology highlights new discoveries, approaches, as well as technical developments, in basic, clinical and discovery-driven translational research.
Molecular Pharmaceutics publishes the results of original research that contributes significantly to the molecular mechanistic understanding of drug delivery and drug delivery systems. The journal encourages contributions describing research at the interface of drug discovery and drug development
Scientific areas within the scope of the journal include physical and pharmaceutical chemistry, biochemistry and biophysics, molecular and cellular biology, and polymer and materials science ad they relate to drug and drug delivery system efficacy.
Molecular Plant is an international journal publishing significant findings in plant biology, focusing broadly on cellular biology, physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, development, plant–microbe interaction, genomics, bioinformatics, and molecular evolution.
Natural Product Reports is a critical review journal which stimulates progress in all areas of natural products research. The journal covers all areas of natural products research including isolation, structural and stereochemical determination, biosynthesis, biological activity and synthesis.
Neurochemical Research is devoted to the rapid publication of studies that use neurochemical methodology in research on nervous system structure and function. The journal publishes original reports of experimental and clinical research results, perceptive reviews of significant problem areas in the neurosciences, brief comments of a methodological or interpretive nature, and research summaries conducted by leading scientists whose works are not readily available in English.
Neurochemistry International is devoted to the rapid publication of outstanding original articles and timely reviews in neurochemistry. Manuscripts on a broad range of topics will be considered, including molecular and cellular neurochemistry, neuropharmacology and genetic aspects of CNS function, neuroimmunology, metabolism as well as the neurochemistry of neurological and psychiatric disorders of the CNS.
Although one of the simplest biological molecules in nature, nitric oxide has found its way into nearly every phase of biology and medicine ranging from its role as a critical endogenous regulator of blood flow and thrombosis to a principal neurotransmitter mediating erectile function to a major pathophysiological mediator of inflammation and host defense. These major discoveries have stimulated intense and extensive research into a vast array of fields including chemistry, molecular biology, and gene therapy.
