Powder Technology is an International Journal on the Science and Technology of Wet and Dry Particulate Systems. Powder Technology publishes papers on all aspects of the formation of particles and their characterisation and on the study of systems containing particulate solids.
This journal is the only review journal which provides a repository of articles and references on the growth and characterization of crystals and their applications.
Progress in Solid State Chemistry presents a chemical view of the solid state by providing up-to-date critical reviews written by acknowledged authorities in the field. It also publishes surveys of research progress and specialized articles devoted to summarizing particular recent developments. The aim is to address the need brought about by the literature on the chemistry of the solid state being widely dispersed, making it difficult to obtain a broad and unified assessment of the present state of knowledge. Special emphasis is given to relating physical properties and structural chemistry.

The scope of Rare Metal Materials and Engineering is development, production and testing of titanium, refractory metals, noble metals, rare metals, rare earth metals and superconducting materials. Meanwhile, design and fabrication technology of ceramic materials, magnetic materials, nanophase materials, biological materials and advanced materials are also included moderately.
Rare Metals is devoted to original research articles encompassing the metallurgy, processing, and determination of rare metals. It also publishes contributions on the synthesis, processing, characterization, properties, and theoretical description of advanced materials, such as superconductors, semiconductors, composites, and ceramics.
Science and Technology of Advanced Materials offers an international forum presenting refereed original contributions at the forefront of materials science research, and occasionally includes reviews of articles in the rapidly growing fields of materials research, such as nano-, bio- and ecomaterials. We also publishes special issues featuring on-going research projects and other materials research activity.
Scripta Materialia is a LETTERS journal of Acta Materialia, providing a forum for the rapid publication of short communications on the relationship between the structure and the properties of inorganic materials. The emphasis is on originality rather than incremental research. Short reports on the development of materials with novel or substantially improved properties are also welcomed. Emphasis is on either the functional or mechanical behavior of metals, ceramics and semiconductors at all length scales.
